Make Up For Ever Sens' Eye

Official Website Description

SENS’EYES is a mineral oil-free gel that removes make-up from eyes and lips and is extremely effective and incredibly gentle. It doesn’t leave the eyelids feeling greasy. It instantly removes impurities, even waterproof make-up on the most sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. [Visit]

I purchased this product when I went to buy my favorite pencil eyeliner Aqua Eyes (I use 24L and 19L). I was just gonna buy the eyeliner but there was this “buy 2 MUFE products and get free gifts” promotion so I decided to give this eye makeup remover a try. I’ve tried numerous makeup/eye makeup removers and my go to eye makeup remover is Lacome Bi-Facil. Bi-Facil removes pretty much ANY mascara I’ve ever purchased but I don’t like how I need to use cotton pad every time. (By the way, Biotherm Biocils is pretty much same as Bi-Facil and it’s a lot cheaper.)

When I was choosing the 2nd product to purchase from MUFE, the makeup artist there told me Sens’ Eyes is a great eye makeup remover even for sensitive eyes. She also told me that even though it says to use cotton pad on the package, I can just spread it onto my fingers and massage gently around my eye areas to remove makeup. So that intrigued me and I decided to give it a try.

I used it as she described and it worked really great. It removes my most stubborn Fasio and Majolica Majorca mascaras and all other water-proof mascaras. I like how I can use my fingers because I feel like I have more control over what I’m doing to the skin around my eyes. I always feel like I’m pulling on my skin and eye lashes when I use cotton pads. Because I used my fingers to massage, some product did get in my eyes but it did not irritate my eyes at all. If you’re really conscious with product getting in your eyes, you can also use cotton pads and it will work just as well.

I finished the whole bottle and I haven’t purchased 2nd bottle because I’ve purchased Bi-Facil when it was on promotion. However, I think I will buy Sens’ Eyes again when I run out of eye makeup remover. It just depends on which product is on promotion. Also, Sens’ Eyes is about $5 cheaper than Bi-Facil, so that might be something to consider too.

Pros

  • Easy to use (no need of cotton pads)
  • Nice bottle with pump so it’s not messy
  • Removes pretty much any eye makeup products
  • Does not irritate my eyes

Cons

  • Slightly expensive (Around CA$25, I don’t have the exact price sorry)
  • Only available at Sephora and the Bay in Canada

My Final Rating: 4.5/5
